SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) The FBI is searching the office of California state Sen. Ron Calderon but is not disclosing the reason for the investigation.
Laura Eimiller, the spokeswoman for the FBI office in Los Angeles, said the warrants were served about 3 p.m. Tuesday and that agents were still inside the Capitol in the evening.
She would not disclose the target of the search warrants, but Senate Chief Sergeant-at-Arms Tony Beard told The Associated Press it was Calderon.
Sources with knowledge of the probe said the search of Calderon's office is part of a wider public corruption investigation in Los Angeles County.
Note how they don't say what the party affiliation is.
Democrat.
Party not mentioned. Gee, I wonder what party he might belong to?
Probably voter fraud... like Garcia & Garcia in S. FL.
Must have really pi$$ed off his fellow thieves!
Of course
Like my dad likes to say, "There is no honor among thieves."
“Note how they don’t say what the party affiliation is.”
They do, in not saying.

The whole Calderon politico-narcotrafficante family of extortionists and racketeers is going to be taken down in a huge RICO case. The grand jury indictment which is sealed includes money laundering, structuring, bribery, conspiracy, obstruction of justice, wire fraud, and 22 total counts naming three Calderons.
Isn’t he that switch hitter? Some days he’s all puffed up with LaRaza demands and then other days he wants to be a gay Scoutmaster in a troop full of retarded kids ~ seriously ~ his legislative history is highly suspect.
KCRA 3’s Mike Luery reports FBI agents also searched the office for the California Latino Legislative Caucus, of which 55-year-old Calderon is the vice chair.
Shocker! not..he & his shady brothers have been on the radar for years. Surprised it took this long.
