TRENTON Gov. Chris Christie is cashing in donations from top Democratic fundraisers and other traditionally liberal donors across the country, even nabbing the support of a handful of rainmakers aligned with President Obama and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, a Star-Ledger review of state and federal records shows.
The checks are flying into the Republican governors war chest from all sorts of unlikely places the hedge fund run by liberal billionaire George Soros, for example, and the politically progressive halls of the University of California, Berkeley.

This is the payoff for taking a dive to Hillary in 2016.
I voted for romney but I did not like it at all. I WILL NEVER VOTE FOR THE FAT COMMUNIST KNOWN AS CRISPY CREME!
LLS
Dems want his Senate appointment to replace Lautenfail.
Good... he needs to join the party that represents his beliefs and we all would be much better off if crispy creme would go dim.
Right... this has NOTHING to do with the impending naming of an interim Senator to replace the fossil Frank Lautenberg. Though Lautenberg died today, no one will ever convince me it wasn’t already known he was about to go room temp.
Some were onto Christie Cream a long time ago.
Anyone thinking this guy was conservative was fooling themselves.
Dogs do smell the back ends of other dogs to determine who is a friend and who is not!!! Apparently, DNC donors have found a friend!
He may have an “R” by his name, but nothin changes the fact that he’z a Northeastern liberal.
Heck, even democrats in Texas are more conservative...that’s sayin somethin y’all.
Christie if elected, could end up being worse than nobama and he’d give us the finger for complaining about it.
I hate to say “he’ll never get elected” cause I remember saying “no way we would elect a anyone with a clearly muslim name only a few years after 9-11”.
“That tells me that he will change parties and appoint a democrat to replace Lautenberg.”
Maybe he’ll change parties and appoint himself. Great first stunt for a new Dem.
