Of course Holder and the White House couldn't foresee the political consequences. Hubris is a funny thing.

It’ll take more than holder resigning to take the stink Out of this administration.

Yes, Mr. pResident. His political ineptness is the problem.

Not his corruption and abuse of power, or yours.

The African communist and his regime are disappointed only with Holder’s inability to lie effectively.

It's not good for him when Obama is trying to set up the final line of defense in the suburbs of Berlin at the top of the DOJ.

How do you like being on the underside of the bus, Holder? You corrupt criminal should be wearing an orange jumpsuit in the darkest hole of a prison for all the atrocities committed under the Clinton/Obama regimes.

Kind of like folks who obtain pit bulls then act surprised and dismayed when they act like pit bulls - especially after spending so much time siccing them on folks...

I call BS. If “the White House” wanted Holder to resign, Holder would resign.

“Former gov. Employee”? Sounds like Nero doesn’t have the balls to fire him so he gets Rham to “leak” this to their prestitutes at the slimes.

Break out the popcorn.

My wish is the Holder sends back a very public message that reads ‘push it Barry and I do a document dump on fast and furious and benghazi on Monday.’

Watch the two tear each other apart.

I’ve said all along that Obama’s white house is full of ideologues who are there whether he wants them or not and he may not be able to force them out without bringing himself down with them.

“...hoping the embattled appointee will resign from office, The New York Times reports.

“The White House is apoplectic about him, and has been for a long time,”

“The White House”? The building wants Holder to resign?

Or does Obama want Holder just to go away, without the requirement for Obama to make a command decision and FIRE the man. Is Obama that wishy-washy? Or is he afraid of setting a precedent by firing the first black attorney general?

If he does, will Holder spill the beans?

Is Holder scheduled to take a group of Chamber of Commerce types or Bar Association members on a flight to the Dubrovnik airport?

let’s see if I have this correct:

in-justist dept - totally politically and for rats
IRS - totally political and for rats
EPA - totally political and for rats
FEC - totally political and for rats
FCC - totally political and for rats
State - totally political and for rats
Homeland in-security - totally political and for rats
Commerce, Education, HHS - totally political and for rats

There is nothing that this government does that is for the people anymore. Nothing it does that is apolitical. It is corrupt and longer able to be made uncorrupt. It is time for a divorce, and freedom loving people should re-form a new constitutional representative government, strengthened from what we have learned from this failure of an experiment.

If the White House truly wanted Holder to resign, then Obama would simply ask for his letter of resignation. If that letter of resignation were not forthcoming, then Obama could simply fire Holder. Really, it’s that simple.

Obama’s #1 concern is Obama. How will Holder resigning make him look, etc. Everything is political, 2 years of campaigning followed by 8 years of campaigning, vacations, and golf.
