It upsets her and Maher, that men could volunteer, be dedicated to their duty, sacrifice for our nation, and still love it and the man who sent them to do a job for us.
I am not a big fan of Bush, but when it comes to following through with what he thought his duty was, he implemented his policy and followed through.

I was at the PX at Bragg, waiting in line for pizza, reading my book, head down, and I noticed the guys behind me were sorta rank. Like just finished with a run stink.
Turned around and looked at them.
One was left leg below the knee amputee. The other was right leg above the knee amputee. They were in PT gear. Waiting in line for pizza.
I gave them my spot in line and paid for their pizza.
I heard that one of them later requalified for jump status. I don't know that for a fact.
