Who is this Karl Rove of whom you speak?
but he is an effective spokesperson
//////////////////
Really? An effective spokesman against the TEA Parties, for example?
Not sure he is worthy of your support.
You’re not offended when he mis-characterizes Tea Party members on a nationally aired program?
Yes, sure he’s an effective spokesperson for those who dislike the Tea Party.
For those who do like the Tea Party or simply want to know a truthful factually based opinion of the Tea Party, not so much.
“Not sure he is worthy of your support.”
He does not have my support. I was just amazed to read that a poster was “offended” by FNC’s choice of spokesperson to “speak for his values.” I don’t think FNC give’s a rat’s a$$ about what most of us think. Personally, I don’t see even FNC “speaking for my values” very much of the time, They are trying to “appear fair and balanced,” which is another was of saying they want to rope in as many listeners as they can because that’s the basis on which they sell advertising (which is really why they exist at all). I pretty much gave up on FNC after the elections last year. They basically bull$hitted us in the lead up to the election and Rove was one of their instruments for so doing.
But Rove seems to have been moved off the subject way too easily. Failed to press Plouffe hard for names of liberal groups.
“Youre not offended when he mis-characterizes Tea Party members on a nationally aired program?”
Sure I am, but in this instance he wasn’t. In a response to another poster in this same thread, I indicated that I no longer bother with FNC, because they are not a whole lot better than they MSM. They are making a ton of money on advertising by being “fair and balanced,” You can find out a whole lot more about what’s really going on reading stuff here on FR and you don’t have to waste a large portion of your evening doing it. As for the Tea Party, I wished that all the members of the Congress were Tea Party folks.
Yeah, but he did us proud on this one. And yeah, I agree we need conservative spokespeople too. Maybe one or two - or a few hundred... But this morning - Rove was on - he was great. He spoke the truth and he spoke it loud and clear.
They basically bull$hitted us in the lead up to the election and Rove was one of their instruments for so doing.

You nailed it there, my friend.
Roves overall contribution to our cause is an extremely negative one.
His advocacy for Bush was wrong headed. Witness the take on immigration fixes. Sadly, that wasn’t the only case.
And when it comes to folks like Rove, Krystal, and a bunch of others, what they truly represent is a cog that takes the place of a real Conservative.
Your and my voices are not heard. The main reason why, is pompous louts like Rove and the others.
We don’t sway public opinion, because these guys don’t advocate for sound Conservative policy.
Which is all well and good, until you get the young mind out there trying to find a person they can trust when it comes to Conservatism. So they hear Rove do good today, and the next time they see him he’s hawking amnesty.
Guys like this get you coming and going.
Exactly right guys...
So, Bush tried to be nonpartisan and appoint a Democrat hack to the IRS. How does this hack show his appreciation? By screwing Republicans, of course! And, when he is called out from screwing Republicans, what do the Democrats say? We'll, he was nominated by a Republican, so he must be a Republican stooge...
Lesson to be learned? Never trust a Democrat.
Dog whistle? Obama owns the whole damn dog and told it to "sic em!".
Rove is effective at NOTHING, except self promotion.
Since the puppet hasn’t ever won a fair election and he was one of the main beneficiaries from the dirty tricks then I have a real hard time thinking he didn’t know a thing about this. Do they really want us to think that he is that stupid?
But Sir, we do not want your point of view represented - just The Left, The Far Left and maybe a RINO.
That’s true, and it occurred to me when I was writing that response. It’s true. Nobody wants the Conservative viewpoint heard. Not even those who profess to represent us and want our votes, want our actual views heard.
