These may be well-meaning comments by Representative Louie Gohmert (R), but they’re terribly misguided.
Yes, Senator John McCain did advocate for terrible policy in Libya. That still does not mean he was responsible for the events that took place resulting in the death of our Ambassador and other diplomats and security agents at our embassy in Benghazi.
Any talk of this helps disburse the responsibility from the two people who were directly responsibly, President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
McCain was an absolute ass to advocate for taking military action in Libya. He was not a part of the decision making process that resulted in four dead Americans.
Confusing the two is actually a distraction that helps Obama and Clinton. It’s a big mistake to do that.
Thank You!
I agree Whole Heartedly!
And I Like Mr Ghomert.
But I say “Take a deep breath Hoss”
Exactly.
McCain was a cheerleader for removing Quedaffy. If Quedaffy was there it wouldn't have happened.
Bush scared the crap out of Quedaffy when Saddam was hung and he gave up any notion of messing with America.
Obastard effed up Libya and McCain and Linseed gave him the cover to do it.
