Newly released IRS video shows employees dancing

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Internal Revenue Service has provided Congress with another video featuring its employees, this one showing about a dozen of them practicing dancing on a stage.

The video, which lasts under three minutes, comes weeks after it was revealed that agency workers produced two other videos, parodying the "Star Trek" and "Gilligan's Island" TV shows. It also comes with the IRS under fire for targeting conservative groups applying for tax-exempt status for tough scrutiny.

All three videos were provided in response to a request by a senior member of the House Ways and Means Committee, Louisiana Republican Charles Boustany. He said Friday that the IRS is an agency where abuse and waste are the norm.

The IRS released a statement saying the video was an unacceptable use of government funds.

But giving them $100 MILLION in bonuses over the past 4 years is apparently OK.

One of the reasons a federal agency will issue a bonus is that it doesn't count toward the high three computation for retirement. Another reason is that you don't get a FERS thirft saving matching fund against any savings deposit you might make from that bonus.

The advantage is to the government ~ else, without the bonus system, thrift saings plan payments would be higher, and the equivalent regular pay raises would appear to be so miniscule the employees would laugh at them.

The IRS, or any other agency of the Obammunist administration, could be caught making homosexual porn videos, on the clock, in the director's office, and nothing would happen. In a written statement, the IRS said the video was "unacceptable and an inappropriate use of government funds.
