MAJOR TORNADO OUTBREAK IMMINENT!!! (Please Share)
I don't often get worked up over events. There are times when all of the parameters are there and very little happens, generally because the models underestimate the CAP strength which prevents thunderstorm development. You better pray they aren't estimating this one correctly because the rest of the ingredients are all there for large damaging tornadoes between the hours of 6pm and midnight across C OK.

“I watched that torpedo”
Was it a Bangalore Torpedo?
(Fifties war movie tidbit.)
If the media cries wolf too often, they will be ignored. Hyping storms to get ratings and viewers ultimately increases the risk of people not paying attention when they need to. I will admit that it is a fine line.
A side note.
We now have storm chaser Facebook groupies now. While the photos and videos they provide are fascinating, the groupies are flocking to the storm chasers thinking that they have superior knowledge over the NWS and meteorologists.
just a coinky dink this is when the asteroid passes us
maybe we get some earthshakes along with tornadoes?
more like a bangaMoore type
lol
What do you “fuel” with ?
Book mark for validation.
In the National Weather Service midwest postings are highly prized.
One of the least popular postings is Elko, Nevada.
SPC is considering at high risk at 3PM CDT.
LOL. As a resident of Oklahoma City, I use that line all the time. But to be completely honest, we are getting a little tired of having a target painted on central Oklahoma.
I live in OKC. One of the ways you know you are an Oklahoman is that when you hear about the possibility of tornados the very first thing you do is go outside to watch.
He's actually too short to be a god.
OK residents must be the most prayed up people of America! It is the only plus to that ‘painted target’ on OK.
Gary England (OKC) and James Spann (Birmingham) are the best in the business, IMHO.
You got that right. Even the atheists pray here (although they are not sure to whom.)
Isn't that what a "Tornado Watch" is all about???
Im driving to Siloam Springs tonite and back to OK. Hope the bad weather decides not to happen.
I don’t know about you, but I am becoming more and more irritable about the weather I Minnesota. It never warms up and the cloudy days are getting to me - plus we had winter storms every Thursday in April.
Yet, when I think of the poor people who live south of here, and are facing these horrible tornadoes almost daily, I then feel ashamed of my disgust with the Minnesota weather.
I do wonder whether we will actually have a summer up here. I am thinking that perhaps this plays a factor in all those storms in OK, MO, Ks, TX, AR, NE, etc. The jet stream seems to be stuck and trains over the same territory every day. Just my two cents worth.
