Remember the Benghazi cover-up story? Forget it.

It’s been thrown out like last week’s garbage and is now buried deep in the mainstream media’s landfill with previous underreported Obama scandals such as Solyndra and Fast and Furious.

The Big Media have fresh Obama outrages to underreport or pooh-pooh at the IRS and the Department of Justice, where Obama apparatchiks harassed and intimidated conservative political groups or troublesome Fox News reporters.

Two weeks ago we complained that the liberals running mainstream journalism, keeping with tradition, have been less than eager to look closely at Obama’s dirty laundry. Little has changed.

Attorney General Eric Holder’s days may be numbered. He already may be cleaning out his desk and working up a resignation speech about how he’s just decided he’d like to spend more time with his family.

But no matter how much he abused his power, or how many times he changes his stories about what he knew about what the DOJ did to Fox News reporter James Rosen and when he knew it, Holder will get every possible benefit of the doubt from MSM reporters and pundits.

Eric’s such a great guy, after all. Just like the president.

Can you imagine what would have happened if my father’s attorney general, Ed Meese, had done what Holder admits he did?

Imagine if Meese had personally signed off on an affidavit okaying the DOJ to bug Sam Donaldson’s phones over at ABC.

The Democrats would have been screaming for my father’s impeachment and Meese would have been driven out of Washington by the nonstop assault of the liberal New York-D.C. media.

But in Obamaland, even using the federal government’s two most-powerful agencies to harass your political enemies apparently is OK with the MSM -- as long as the victims are conservatives.

The journalists of the Big Media are allied almost entirely with the left and President Obama. That can’t be changed, only balanced by places like Fox and talk radio.

But CBS, NBC, CNN and the rest of the mainstream crew need to stop thinking in terms of left and right, and do their jobs better. They need to start reporting what’s good for the country, not what’s good for their favorite president.

Five years into the reign of Barack Obama, we have people in the USA who are deathly afraid of what their government will do to them if they join the wrong political group or ask the wrong question.

Thanks in large part to the failings and biases of Big Media, few Americans today actually know what the IRS has been doing to their fellow citizens since 2010. Fewer Americans care -- especially those who voted Obama in 2012.

More people are concerned with who’s gay and not gay in the sports world than about winning America’s war against Islamist terrorists, citizens being harassed by the IRS, or the DOJ leaning on reporters who don’t report what Washington wants them to report.

There’s a civil war being fought between the left and the right in Washington -- and in the news media -- that will affect every American.

I don’t know what it’ll take to get millions of Americans to rise up and scream, “We’re mad as hell and we’re not going to take it from Obama and his gang anymore.”

But I do know the current administration has been turning America into either a banana republic or a born-again Soviet Union. And the mainstream media have been letting him get away with it for too long.

Pick a scandal, any scandal. This has to be the most corrupt administration in American history.

Not that the dead media will ever report it. Though the Rosen story did hit a bit close to home for them.

Saul Alinsky’s book is explicit in how to debase and destroy. The left has been infiltrating government since Progressive T. Roosevelt, but this hoard of leftists come from the 60s and 70s. The SDS served as a deterrent while the Alinskyites took advantage, infiltrating the body with their cancerous socialist cells, mostly all coming from Ivy League Schools. I personally believe the top SDS (and associate organizations) knew this, the hoi polli of followers, they were just dupes.

These people know what they are doing, and I see little hope in stopping them; until they fail and certainly they will, after America is destroyed.

I'm praying (a lot) that their screams will be heard loud and long from the ballot boxes in Nov, 2014. Assuming we're all still around then. And assuming somebody figures out how to stop the rampant RAT voter fraud.

1. Do you know if Obama had a 19th birthday party when he turned 19 on Aug. 4, 1980?

2. If Obama had such a party, do you remember if he had it in Hawaii or California, where he had just finished his freshman year at Occidental, 1979-1980?

3. I am especially interested if the party was held in California for the following reason:

4. Obama's July 29, 1980, Hawaii Selective Service form If Obama did indeed fill out his Selective Service form in Hawaii on that date, I find it interesting that just a few days later he is in California celebrating his 19th birthday on Aug. 4, 1980.

5. So Megan Hughes and Greg Orme and others: If you could tell a reporter---like one at the National Enquirer---which state---Hawaii or California---Obama held his Aug. 4, 1980 birthday party to celebrate his 19th birthday, we would appreciate it.

6. NOTE: If there is any friend of Obama out there who attended Obama’s 19th birthday party but nobody has ever heard of you, please contact a media reporter and let him know how much fun you had.

7. Megan and Greg: June and July 1980: Do you know what 18 year old Obama was doing in those summer months, the summer after he had just finished his freshman year at Occidental in California, 1979-1980, because no one else seems to know?

8. Megan and Greg: Did you know that the only thing that we know for sure is that Obama did NOT hold a job during those months, either in Hawaii or California, where he had just finished his freshman year at Occidental, because there is no record of Obama holding a job from the day he enrolled at Occidental in 1979 until the day he graduated from Columbia 4 years later?

9. Megan and Greg: Obama must have had a large amount of student loans in order for him to pay his expenses over those four years at Occidental and Columbia solely from student loans. Is that true, or do you know if he also got financial help from friends and relatives over those 4 years first at Occidental and then at Columbia?

10. Megan and Greg: Occidental scholarships If Obama had scholarships at Occidental to help pay his college expenses, was he able to get them transferred when he went to Columbia in New York, or could they only be used at Occidental?

11. Megan and Greg: If Obama had scholarships at both Occidental and Columbia, are they part of the public record?

12. Megan Hughes: Do you know where Obama’s close high school friend Greg Orme is today? What is he doing? Did he go to college? Do you know if he keeps in touch with President Obama today?

Megan, I bet if anyone knows about the skeletons in Obama’s closet, Greg Orme knows them. Do you agree?

I made up my own list of major scandals Obama has perpetrated -- he perpetrated them, remember -- and added them all up: 17 scandals serious enough that, if Obama were a Republican, he would now be facing at least a Senate Select Committee like Sam Ervin's committee that went after Richard Nixon, and an outcome of probable impeachment.

Now there's an idea. Let's call Sam Dash and Fred D. Thompson out of retirement and set them to work. Give them Lawrence Walsh (for the Dems) and either Bill McCollum and Bob Barr, or maybe Ken Starr (for the Republicans) as their associate lead investigators, and see if Barky and the Chicago Boys can stand up to that.

I don't understand what you mean by that.

(IMHO SDS was under the direction of KGB Active Measures, and every event SDS participated in was quietly steered by KGB.)

Please distinguish, if you can, between the people you mean by "Alinskyites" and those you call "SDS": how are they different?

People who studied the 60's radicals found that they were not, as they often claimed, the children of Ozzie and Harriet from whose eyes the scales of gross American materialism and racism had fallen.

People who cared to check found lots and lots of Communist, ex-Communist, Socialist, One-Worlder, and other 40's political Red bushmeat in the family trees they climbed. Valerie Jarrett's daddy, for example, was as Red as they come and a tight buddy of Frank Marshall Davis the Communist pederast.

I hear ya. The lefties own the MSM, the universities, and ever more the secondary schools where the indoctrination begins. The conservative message is an easy sell because it's the truth, but overcoming the bias presented in the media and in the educational institutions on a daily basis is almost impossible.

True, the radicals of the 1960s were regarded as “Red Diaper Babies”. I read “Rules for Radicals”, the last thing Alinsky wanted, was to be identified with the SDS radicals and the Communists, knowing it would be counterproductive to his goals. I did not say the SDS and Communists were not students of Alinsky. I didn't define it because a “Student of left wing 60s radicals” would know that.
