A former bodyguard for Osama bin Laden is claiming the terror leader blew himself up during the U.S. special forces raid on his Abbotabad compound in Pakistan.
Nabil Naim Abdel Fattah told Gulf News that Navy SEALs did not kill the al Qaeda leader who planned the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.
“U.S. special forces did not kill Osama Bin Laden. He detonated himself to avoid being captured after American forces raided his hiding place in Pakistan in 2011,” Abedel Fattah explained to Gulf News.
Abdel Fattah – the former of Egyptian Islamic Jihad — said that bin Laden “wore an explosive belt for the last 10 years of his life.”

CBS runs with an imagined story from a guy who was not there and it is now being accepted as fact? and reported seriously?
There was females in the room with him who are still alive, and they never said anything like this.

I’m thinking it’s another red herring story to distract from Benghazi.
Even if it’s “true”, whoever they “killed” would certainly have had a couple minutes’ notice to blow himself up.

I thought he tried to reach for a weapon and fight back...this claim, by a liar who wasn’t there is just an attempt to embellish bin laden’s mythology. I don’t know if the “raid” actually killed bin laden or if he croaked years prior to that as in published reports, but this allegation sounds like a heaping pile

I think they’re just trying to martyrize OBL rather than accept that he was a victim of the great satan.

I question believing any news story, and pointed out that the poster was CHOOSING to believe SOME news stories.
My biggest complaint is many (alleged) conservatives here seem to selectively believe and defend SOME news stories over others.

So I choose not to believe some media report about what a woman allegedly said who was allegedly there. Apparently you CHOOSE to believe it.
