WASHINGTON Senator John McCains office is pushing back against reports that while visiting Syria this week he posed in a photo with rebels who kidnapped 11 Lebanese Shiite pilgrims.
The photo, released by McCains office, shows McCain with a group of rebels. Among them are two men identified in the Lebanese press as Mohamed Nour and Abu Ibrahim, two of the kidnappers of the group from Lebanon.

In the first report about his trip that I read, it was stated he was there to meet rebel leaders who came from all areas of Syria.
If this meeting was such a friggin secret, how in the H did these guys know with enough notice to be there? I’ll bet this asshat was totally oblivious to things like counter-intelligence within the rebel groups. Even if they did not know McCain would be there specifically, the fact that the entire leadership was in one place is bad enough.
Geez, what a fargin maroon. He is lucky to be alive and/or not a hostage.

Nope, the Whackobirds was his next day response to the Rand Paul Filibuster while he was out dining privately with The Prez and his gang of sycophants at what is one of the most expensive restaurants in DC.

“Overthrowing Assad will mean the massacre of the Syrian Christians. I know a lot of people in our government dont seem to care about that, “
My take is THIS WH would consider that a positive.

Unfortunately, we can’t post from the Onion, but if you google “McCain,” “Syria” and “Onion,” you’ll find a hilarious article about McCain’s family being concerned that he has been wandering off and this time they found him in Syria.
Sadly, I think this fits.

What a perfect metaphor for this clueless idiot.

A number of the Syrians who greeted Senator McCain upon his arrival in Syria asked to take pictures with him, and as always, the Senator complied, Rogers said. If the individual photographed with Senator McCain is in fact Mohamed Nour, that is regrettable. But it would be ludicrous to suggest that the Senator in any way condones the kidnapping of Lebanese Shia pilgrims or has any communication with those responsible. Senator McCain condemns such heinous actions in the strongest possible terms, Rogers said. That would be fine, except for what he said on CNN....
U.S. Senator John McCain said on Wednesday, two days after meeting with rebels in Syria, that he is confident the United States can send weapons to fighters in Syria without the risk they will fall into the wrong hands.
We can identify who these people are. We can help the right people, McCain said on CNNs program Anderson Cooper 360.

If he had won in 2008, he would have done much more damage than Obama.
And that's sayin' somethin'.

I agree and disagree, my friend. I agree that Obama is evil and bad for America and the world, but I disagree that McCainiac is only a doofus. I perceive McCainiac as complicit and part of the evil.
He's not all that senile. He's just evil.

McCain.....thank you for your service to this country.
But.....you’re an idiot!
Time for you to get outta the way and let fresh conservative blood guide the republican party.
