Ca legislature ignores hitting the iceberg.
Its up to Gov Brown now. I read on calguns he owns some "evil assault weapons" himself on his ranch in NorCal so this will affect him too.
But I imagine all of these may pass.
I am from California and just bought ammo in Prescott AZ, no special requirements.
And to think, back in 1982 the citizens of Cali voted down Prop 15 which would have banned handguns in Cali. Since then, the politicians have been working overtime trying to find a way around the will of the people.
it seems to me that if you refused to ban large capacity handguns in 1982, that the Politicians do not have the right to ban the magazines for them or the ammo for them.
What is to prevent the politicians from banning a six shot revolver in the future as long as five shot revolvers are on the market.
It won't affect him one bit. The beautiful people are exempt from the laws meant only for the proles...
And keep a close eye on crime stats for the next 20 yrs.
You can’t buy >10 round mags, but it is legal to posses any you owned prior to the law. This new bill bans POSSESSION as well. “All your standard cap mag belong to us”
It means ALL mags over 10 rounds. No grandfathering. What was legal would now be illegal.
Dear Californian kulaks. I’ve been looking for a really nice condition 1917 Enfield thats been sporterized. An old Sears “Ted Williams” model would be perfect as long as it still has the stripper clip guides in the reciever. Private message me with details. Remember, if you have cash, you might be able to bribe the concentration camp guards for better treatment.
Good luck!
I was thinking about that as well.
Before the boating accident I had 10 round mags for semi and 4 rounders for bolts.
Amazing the shotgun is now considered an assault weapon.
Not a peep about claw hammers.
“Im more convinced than ever that well need to brush off the 1867 Reconstruction Act, send in a military governor and abolish Californias sovereign right to govern itself.”
A lot of us here would welcome that kind of intervention.
“Does Nevada and Arizona have strict ammo purchase rules? Could be a real profitable business to invest in..”
No, but you have to wonder just how it would play out. Right now, a CA resident can’t buy any kind of gun in Nevada without the purchase flowing through and FFL. And CA is the only state that borders Nevada that has that restraint. My guess is that the CA agents would “stake out” places near the border and apprehend CA residents making purchases to bring home with them. Looks as though the state could find a more useful use for the Plant Quarantine Inspection Stations by using them to search cars for ammo.
Noticed that too. Perhaps one law on the books to prevent them wasn’t enough for a Democrat.
Go to sleep a Law Abiding Citizen and wake up a Law Breaking Felon. God Bless America...
Looks like my trips to Vegas will end up being Ammo Runs.

SB 788 place restrictions on large kitchen knives and requires stores selling to obtain ID. No home is allowed to have more than two kitchen knives for food processing. Steak Knives are allowed but only in quantities of eight. both kitchen knives and steak knives must be kep in a locked drawer for safe storage.
Good Will no longer takes knives, kitchen knives.
How much did criminal organizations pay to lobby for those bills?
