The state Senate approved legislation Wednesday that would use Californias tax policy in an attempt to pressure the Boy Scouts of America into fully accepting gay members.
The bill would make the organization ineligible for nonprofit tax breaks, despite its vote last week to accept openly gay scouts while blocking gays from becoming scout leaders.
... It now goes to the Assembly. If the bill is eventually signed into law by the governor, the groups would have to pay corporate taxes on donations, membership dues and camp fees, while also paying sales tax on food, beverages and homemade items sold at fundraisers.

The YMCA wasn’t enough.
Excellent answer! I can't imagine any parent choosing to leave their child in an organization corrupted in this way.
Too bad they lost their First Amendment defense by endorsing homosexuality.
San Franpsycho is sparce on children for a reason. Soon to be the entire state a Cali-sodom.
Bump
Opportunity knocks! Start a scouting alternative, based on what the BSA originally was and heavy with conservative principles.
HOMOSEXUAL, because there's nothing GAY about it.
“Now no one is happy with you imbeciles.”
This evening I totally ignored some boy scouts selling goods in front of a Wal-Mart I was going into. I hated snubbing little children, but it had to be done.
I WILL NEVER donate nor buy anything from them ever again. What really makes me ill is that the military lets these “persons” serve as openly homosexual....so I feel a little caught in the middle.
The Army (and military in general)is having problems with sexual misconduct and sexual assaults..especially on females. Why could these fools in political office not realize that things would get worse with the open acceptance of homosexuals. If you accept one form of sexual perversion...then you get others (sexual assault...the treatment of females as ?).
The military’s conduct will be reflected in the persons it lets in.
