One of the tea partys strongest supporters is not coming back to Congress.
Rep. Michelle Bachmann, R-Minn., announced she will not seek reelection next year.
She made the announcement in a video posted on her website.
Bachmann isnt ruling out a run for another office.
Looking forward, after the completion of my term, my future is full, it is limitless, and my passions for America will remain, she said in the video.

I don’t blame her. I wouldn’t want to be in that sewer on Capitol Hill very long either.
She could snag a reality show or go on Dancing with the Stars.
Prepping to move up to the Senate?? When is a Minnesota senator next up for election or re-election?
That would be awesome.
Franken. 2014.
Perfect
She’s very impressive in person. Smarter than all of us, and makes you feel like you are the most important one in the room.
Franken would never debate her.
He knows he is a idiot.
I know it’s been said before, but . . why are conservative women so much better looking than democratic hags?
You can only put up with evil for so long. I wish her well.
Leave it to World Nut Daily to mangle the headline.
She is not resigning from Congress. She has decided not to run again in 2014.
Retiring Rep. Bachmann understands the problem of Obamanation.
Ponder this old bromide:
When everyone around you are losing their heads and you are not, perhaps it is because you do not understand the problem.
Now revisit and compare, (in thought), the problem awareness of Bachmann and Boehner.
Nobody is more comfortable co-existing with Obamanation than ol Blue Eyes Boehner.
Yup, the sorry, clueless, RINOs in The House have put their trust in laid back Boehner, while Bachmann gets ready to be nominated as Allen Wests Veep in 2016, IMHO
What? Why are you looking at me?
Man, that would be so great! The Queen of the TEA Party takes down Mr. Audit-TEA-Parties Franklown.
He could always get a job on Sesame Street.
Has that moron been in the Senate that long already?
Anyone with half a brain knows the biggest screw up with the ratifying of the 17 Amendment, was not changing the term for elected representatives as reflected in the Constitution, to two years. That mistake alone should have nullified the entire process.
The truth shall make you beautiful.
A little known secret the left fails to learn. When you hate and detest, and dislike anything good, or praisworthy, you turn into an ogre.
Having never run for state-wide office and based on her poor showing in 2012, this is a necessary step if she has higher ambitions.
And, to put a cynical spin on it, what good have any of the tea party conservatives done in the House? Between Boehner stripping them of any committee power, Cantor telling them how to vote, and inability in many cases to hold the office longer than 2 years...Bachmann being there or not isn’t going to matter.
