Looks to me like he missed ONE... Obozo.
The Wilt Chamberlain of exorcism?
According to Psalm 91:13 all who dwell in the shelter of the Most High can cast out demons:
13 You will trample upon lions and cobras;you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet!
I think exorcism can be dangerous, unless the priest really knows what he’s doing.
That said, it probably would be a good idea if more exorcisms were available where they are needed. It seems to be another failure on the part of the bishops. I think some of them are afraid of being thought superstitious. Well, there’s nothing superstitious about Satan and other devils as biblical figures. And casting out demons has always been done from the earliest Christian times, with Christ and the Apostles setting the first examples.
C. S. Lewis had it right in The Screwtape Letters. One of Satan’s biggest victories was to persuade modernists that he didn’t exist, and that sin was an outdated concept.

They are not destroyed by exorcism, but sent back to where they came from: Waterless places (no baptism). Unless Christ occupies the space, demons are free to rule for a time, but only in the interest of serving salvific history; only within constraints. Seven demons more may enter in where one is expelled and Christ does not dwell.
may we be permitted to suggest a few excellent candidates for the good Father’s expert services?
Like, in WashDC?
He missed two..Princess Nanci and Joe Biteme.
I have read his books. Very good.
I believe what he says.
Holy Baptism is an exorcism of the highest order, enjoined upon all who believe the Gospel of Christ who atoned for the sin of the world once for all. By this sacrament the merits of Christ are concretely applied to poor sinners. Demons *hate* that stuff. They also mock its efficacy, though the Word of God is true.
When I visited Rome several years ago, my Italian friend suggested that I not walk too close to a certain building tucked away behind a wall. “The exorcist lives there,” she said. It did have rather an eerie feeling.
Some people think that demons may not get driven all the way back to hell and hang around the site of exorcism or the exorcist. Probably good advice to stay away.
Whoa...nice...I know a guy who’s done about 138,000. He’s obviously got nothing on this guy.
They should send him to Chicago, Detroit and Jacksonville Beach... And soom Miami Beach, for a start anyway
Rid the world, or just remove them from one set of sufferers and send them elsewhere?
Bump
And yet, Obama is still in the White House. (I’m surprised we can still call it that.)
sounds like the Walter Mitty of Catholicism
“The Secret Life of Father Gabriele Amorth”
How can it really be determined that a demon has actually been cast out? By behavior afterwards?
