My 6 yr old answered the clerk lady who asked “what grade are you in” with “I’m homeschooled”.
Both the clerk and her helper said “that’s great, you never know what strange things they’ll do in public schools these days”.
So, the sentiment is getting out through the grass roots, indeed.
