I guess I’ll never know the full story—but I’ll always wonder—LOL!
Added a few key words so folks wouldn’t get this mixed up with “Big Bend” area.
Can you at least tell us how the story ended? Did the intruder live or meet his Maker? And do you tease your significant other this way too, or is it strictly reserved for us? Lol!
There are multiple sources shown when you google it.
I got from googling that after being shot multiple times while trying to break in the home, the intruder fled and was soon found down the street and taken to the hospital.
He was a young man (teens?) with an hispanic name, and I believe I read that he was armed.
(Obviously the homeowner “got the drop on him”.)

Thank you for your work. When I searched it, I did not find any better source.

Teen suspect shot by Rosenberg homeowner, facing multiple charges

A burglary suspect was sent to the hospital by Life Flight on Sunday night after a homeowner shot him multiple times, police said.
A witness across the street said prior to the shooting, he saw the suspect trying to break in to his neighbors home, so he called the homeowner. A few minutes later, the homeowner arrived with his dad, and they confronted the suspect.
Police said the teen allegedly pointed a gun at the homeowner, and the homeowner responded by shooting him six or seven times.
On Monday, the suspect was released from the hospital after being treated for injuries to his shoulder and leg. Police identified him as Alejandro Arrona, 19.
Police said Arrona is a resident of Rosenberg. Hes been charged with aggravated robbery, attempted burglary, and unlawful possession of a firearm.
The homeowner is not facing any charges, police said.
Thanks for the information.
Thanks! That’s essentially what this says:

There aren’t many topics that’ll make me do a google search on this antique, outdated phone, but this would obviously be one of them. :-)

Good night! If y’all ever fnd out what caliber the homeowner was shooting, let me know so i can make sure mine is double that. Must have been a .22 or ssomething similar.
Hmmm. Perp fled and is alive after being shot six or seven times? That is one tough dude!
It’s a suburb of Houston. ‘Nuff said.
Out here in the country, no one thinks a thing of the sound of gunshots. I just think good, someone got a snake.
