Sen. Max Baucus (D-Mont.) raised eyebrows across the country last month when he publicly fretted about an Obamacare train wreck as the Administration rushes to implement the many provisions of the law that take effect in 2014...

HHS is not just raiding the federal treasury to promote the exchanges. Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is now shaking down corporations and nonprofits to bankroll the Administrations efforts. Shes solicited donations on behalf of Enroll America, a group headed by former Obama staffers that seeks to aid in the rollout of Obamacare.
Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) postulated that Sebeliuss fundraising may be illegal and has called on the Government Accountability Office to investigate...

And Obamacares raft of regulations and costly benefit mandates will only drive prices higher. According to a new report from the House Energy and Commerce Committee, major health insurers expect average premiums for individuals to double and in some cases, to quintuple. Small-business premiums will shoot up anywhere from 50 to 100 percent.
Of course, if premiums increase, the federal subsidies Obamacare established to keep them affordable will have to surge, too. The Congressional Budget Office recently raised expected subsidy costs over the next decade by $233 billion.
The Obamacare train is derailing right now. The only way to stop it from crippling taxpayers, small businesses, the health care system, and the economy is to cut the engine and pull hard on the brakes.

I’m sure Boehner will do all be can to make sure it’s implemented as smoothly as possible—no sarcasm.
The train wreck called the “Curse of Obamanation” moves forward.
Never saw it coming.
Until it is actually off the rails, on its side or in the drink I can have no peace on this matter.
The government telling me that I must buy something and exactly what that something must be or I will be fined is utter BS.
Of course you could be right.
But even Boehner doesn’t want to tick off his constituents.
And he would if he smooths the path for implementation.
I love the smell of derailments in the morning.
I love the smell of derailments in the morning.
Republicans will stomp their feet and hold their breath in front of the cameras and their constituency. But, they will do absolutely nothing as they have in all of the last 50 years of the exponential growth of government.
GOOD! cause I wasn’t looking forward to going to Prison.

Let them fine me and put me in jail. Under Obama’s economy I have no income, or so little that it’s only four figures per year. That barely covers food and rent. And I’m neither stupid nor crazy, having had a six-figure income just three years ago...
I appreciate your response because I’m ready to go, too, and it’s a source of comfort that I’m not alone in this. Let’s hope for the trainwreck to materialize...
Nah, the IRS will just take away your money from the bank, big deal. Convert to cash, bud.
***** “Convert to cash, bud.” *****
That is already a memory... a choice that should have been made a couple years ago.
Approaching 60, my choices are few to non-existent and what remains is diminishing quickly.

We have decided that since corporations will not give us anymore money to fund Obamacare,
we will just raise the people's monthly fines for non-compliance.
California just announced their exchanges and the rates. Liberals are so excited because it looks like the cost is less than they projected. There is a little problem with their projections; they published these rates that showed $200 to $300 per month for the average person that does not have insurance and gets fed/state subsidy. So they are assuming these people who are living pay check to paycheck will be able to budget $200 to $300 per month for insurance. And of course all of these people will not only budget for this but make their payments in a timely fashion.... Hell, they can’t get College students to pay back student loans how the hell do they expect these people to pay for insurance?

I read this week that the three largest health insurers decided NOT to insure in CA exchanges.
