I find liberals not so much rude as fragile. They remind me of therapy addicts — you know the type, those who run from shrink to shrink but never resolve their issues. Instead, they need everyone around them to be a certain way, otherwise they’ll crack up. Which explains their need for control.
They are very confused philosophically, as well as egocentric. They tend to contradict themselves; in fact, they’re a walking paradox. Three cheers for diversity — unless you have an opinion or lifestyle different than theirs.
There is unquestionably mental illness, probably abuse, somewhere. Probably these were the kids everyone made fun of back in grade school. Parents were either overly strict or flaky/permissive. Poor boundaries, judgment, or impulse control. Terrible sense of entitlement.
Which makes them highly obnoxious. Being around them and hearing them talk is exquisite torture, which I endure every day on the ride to and from work.
