To answer your question: they don’t have an answer to that. All they can really do is 1) try to pervert Christianity to their world view (a 90 some odd year project of the Progressive Movement), 2) turn to a sort of three bong hit Eastern Mysticism, 3) co-opt some libertarian/objectivist thinking, leaving out the property rights parts, 4) go all dialectical-historical materialism/Cultural Marxist without even knowing it. None of those are very attractive positions to defend, so their rudeness is understandable, even if it’s not excused.
