Last month, we learned that Jay-Z, husband of American Idol guest star, Beyonce Knowles was planning to sell his one-percent ownership share of the Nets so he could pursue becoming a sports agent. And now, less than a month into his new business venture, hes under investigation by the NFL! Whats going on? Youll have to take the jump to find out!
Jay-Zs original plan for his new company, Roc Nation Sports Agency, was to let agents within the company take care of the day-to-day business and to negotiate contracts with the athletes. But according to the Inquisitr, Jay-Z may have gotten a little too close to one of the deals, specifically New York Jets player Geno Smith, and is now under investigation by the NFL. Whats up with that?
The NFL says that only NFLPA-certified agents may be involved in recruiting new clients. However, Jay-Z does not hold that designation and therefore, cannot be involved in the recruiting process.
So did Jay-Z recruit Smith or did one of the agents within Roc Nation Sports Agency recruit the NFL star? According to the contract, Smith signed with Roc Nation agent, Kim Miale. However, evidence obtained by the NFL suggests that Jay-Z had direct involvement in the deal

Here we go. It wasn’t Jay Z, it was one of his agents, Jay Z didn’t know, nobody told him. Sound familiar? He’s has taken lessons from his messiah.
NFL star? He hasn't even thrown a pass in a NFL pre-season game yet!
Beyonce ruled that Jay Z was “outta bounds” and deserved a 15 yard penalty for not hittin’ on her below the belt!
A better question might be: did he go through a charade of becoming a sports agent so he would have an excuse for selling his stake in the Nets because he needed the money?
He is also a gang banger rapster and NFL be violating his rights if they did anything to him
