I agree with your sentiments.
As for who will lead us, I watch as first one then another is lofted only to prove they weren’t worthy of being lofted in the first place.
It’s tough. We have no real leaders, and as much as it bothers others, I do include Sarah in that group.
I had high hopes for her. I wasn’t sure if she was up to it, but she was the shining star in 2008. And then she started addressing immigration and it as clear she was quite sympathetic to McCain’s version of a fix.
Frankly it’s quite demoralizing to watch the potential leaders come and go. Is then no person of leadership age that has the skills and the right-headedness to do it?
I’ve just about given up hope.

We have something we can count on but it does require faith.
Palin was a disappointment to me as well. I hoped she had been called to serve, but alas she was not which does not bode well for us because I think God has finally let us, as a nation, go it on our own. The world will not be better off with us in decline.
