We live in a world of insane political leaders who prefer to blame anyone or anything but the insane criminals who kill people.
We get gun control laws in the US and in the UK since they already have gun control laws they come up with a speech control policy.

Exactly. Socialist and communists love to take away freedom in the name of “safety.” The ruse is that they freedoms they take away are only marginally related to the issue. The issue here is not “hate speech.” The issues are Islamism and immigration. But it’s much easier to take away liberty from law-abiding citizens than to tackle the real problems of Islamism and immigration.
