Cuomo Flogs Weiner: 'Shame On Us' If We Elect Him
BRIETBART ^ | May 23, 2013 | By John Nolte

Posted on 05/26/2013 1:17:41 AM PDT by Brad from Tennessee

Democrats are obviously not happy with the idea of disgraced former Congressman Anthony Weiner running for mayor of New York City. In an editorial meeting with some local newspapers, New York governor Andrew Cuomo said "shame on us," if Weiner is elected.

Rogers: "So if Anthony Weiner wants to run for mayor, he can run for mayor."

Cuomo: "He runs? He runs."

Rogers: "And if we elect him?"

Cuomo: "Shame on us."

Other than the fact that his own Democrats are already turning against him, Weiner has a number of other problems on his hands above and beyond the extra-marital sexting that forced his resignation from Congress.

For starters, Weiner cannot say that other pictures might not bubble up. But worse than that is that he is unable to say for certain that those he engaged in this kind of behavior with were of age.

Finally, above and beyond the salaciousness of the scandal, Weiner repeatedly lied to his constituents and the media for days about his behavior and also attempted to smear Andrew Breitbart, the man who factually and accurately broke what would become known as Weinergate. . .

Gov Cuomo is sensitive to infidelity. His marriage broke up after he discovered that his wife had been carrying on with a clise, and married, family friend.

That might explain his opinion here.

Andrew Cuomo may be sensitive to infidelity, but not to the Bible and the proscription against fornication. The Catholic Governor is shacked up in a mansion with his girlfriend, Sandra Lee. Here is a charming anecdote that doesn’t seem to bother most people in the decadent Hillary-loving state of New York —

“We are homebodies at heart,” she[Lee] says. “We spend a lot of our time here watching television in front of the fireplace.” That is, when she’s not entertaining in the Founding Fathers Room, as Lee has affectionately dubbed the dining room. “It’s the only one in the house that Andrew had specific ideas about,” she says. If the dining room is Cuomo’s, the living room is very clearly Lee’s. “I am happiest in here,” she says of the light-filled space that incorporates her office.

That’s rich, coming from the gun grabbing, late term abortion advocate. Shame on you Cuomo for supporting infanticide.

People in New York consider infanticide the price of “sexual libertinism”. Someone else pays the price, as they “enjoy”.

His wife is of the Muslim b hood.

She wants to be first lady of nyc as do her folks, unless the muslim married a jew for love and family, and worked as Hillary’s right hand man for an innocent desire to be of service to our country and its Consitution, as Hillary will get around to doing in our dreams

His indiscretions were no doubt quite an annoyance to these people,

He is going to get elected.

If the Republicans ran the reincarnated Mother Teresa, Wiener would still get over 90% of the vote. Who is kidding who?

Ugh. The New Yorkers will do it. The NYP readers will, just for the daily puns.

NY city is so FUBAR'd after Doomberg and his Nanny State, it's Gun Control, and Anti-Conservative Business Environment, I say good, let um' have the Wiener.

In fact we ought to have an Operation Chaos to Fund him, he can't be any worse than Doomberg.

At somepoint one may ask, will NY go the way of California and CALPER's and Detroit, if so let the Dem's own it...

Weiner’s behavior showed incredible lack of judgment. How did he know that the recipients were who they claimed to be? The person on the other side of the chat could have been a Republican operative, a Red Chinese or Iranian agent. The man is too stupid and irresponsible to hold any elected office.
