In each of these cases, attacks were carried out for reasons which we just can’t comprehend. So since we can’t comprehend the reasons for such attacks, and have no idea of the motives of the attackers, how can any linkage or conclusions be drawn?

Back in the early 1990’s our American living in Paris warned those of us who traveled to Paris often to avoid the La Defense train station for security purposes. Two of us happened to need to catch a train in the station and were discussing the security issue when the Gendarmes walked by. They were in a group of seven with a dog. We decided if they thought they needed to travel in large groups, then we shouldn’t be there.
France needs to pass a law banning beards or face a prison term.....problem solved....

I have a friend who went over to Strasborg France to study back in 1988/89. When he was off on holidays, he and his roommate would travel all over France and back then, the mooselimbs were mainly in Marseilles and that was an area to avoid. His roommate even said, “one in the ocean in pollution, all in the ocean is the solution,” it rhymed in French as well as English. BTW, he also met Yasser Arafat at the European Parlament, he said he was a jerk to say the least.
