A French soldier patrolling a business neighborhood west of Paris was stabbed in the neck on Saturday by a man who quickly fled the scene and is being sought by police, President Francois Hollande said.
The soldier was patrolling in uniform with two other men as part of France's Vigipirate anti-terrorist surveillance plan when he was approached from behind around 1800 p.m. and stabbed in the neck with a knife or a box-cutter.

Peyvel said the man was able to flee into a crowded shopping area in the La Defense business neighborhood before the two other soldiers, who were walking in front of him, were able to react.
French daily Le Parisien cited a police source as saying the suspected attacker was a bearded man of North African origin about 30 years old, and was wearing an Arab-style garment under his jacket.
However, Peyvel declined to confirm or deny that description and said further details about the attacker's identity would be forthcoming.

I went to Catholic parochial school in the 50s and 60s. We learned about the Holy Crusades by some big nasty nuns that could took no S*** from us kids and told us about how Islam tried to take over Christian lands and how we did not bend over and take it like is being done today...
In Paris, there's city Metro cops, some of whom get to drive special lightning-fast little Peugot patrol cruisers. They will weave in and out of traffic going the wrong way and driving on the sidewalks if they want. I also saw big Yamaha 1300s motorcyles being used by the police more often that I saw patrol cruisers.
There's also the French Army patrolling around in the big tourist areas, and in the most sensitive places where hundreds of citizens might be a target for a terrorist attack, they use the Foreign Legion paratroopers. They roam around in squads of six or eight, with multiple squads in view.
And sometimes, the French Army stages military exercises in Paris. They just send in whole divisions for maneuvers.
In the UK, mags are inserted. No round in chamber, they say.
Bearded? Obviously an Amish.
Sirhan Sirhan...
Do the French actually know how to “watch my 6”!! Good grief!! You are walking in the area of Mohammed’s Morons (the M&M’s).
Whoops. Apparently Sirhan is Christian.

sorry - couldn’t resist - I see words backards at times. . .
Didnt this happen at a recruiter in the US already?
I think it was in Alabama or Georgia. Recruiters should be armed or carry concealed.
In New York or California most likely, where the odds of a CCW holder taking them out will be nil. San Diego immediately comes to mind as a target rich environment.
I know what Ike, FDR, Truman or Reagan wouldve done. What a Muslim will do remains to be seen, huh?
Before long we’re going to be praising the Crusaders.
In addition there were the shootings (murders) of CIA employees in McLean, Va. who were waiting at a stop light. The state of Virginia actually managed to execute the Pakistani muslim animal who did the shootings. There was a shooting at the top of the Empire State Building by another crazy, fanatic muslim who was "offended" about something. I believe some people were killed in that incident also. And of course the 2001 9/11 attack and the previous 1993 attack on the World Trade Center. Yes indeed, the Islamic/Arab war against America has ongoing for some time.
Perhaps not by the victim, but surely by a bystander.
And this exactly the reason that the UN, the muslim in chief, democrats and RINOs want us to be disarmed.
To them, islam is not a threat, but Christianity certainly is.
2 recruiters in Georgia have already been attacked by a Muslim.
We’re still asleep on the homefront.
Already happened in Ft. Hood and Arkansas.
But in the rest of the country, CCW is honored.
