Shulman was listed as visiting the WH 118 times----told Issa'a committee he went to the WH Easter Egg roll. (Snicker) nice to know the WH celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ all year-long, isn't it?

=================================================

I think Issa is well-intentioned but he's in over his head on these issues. It took Cong Trey Gowdy to point out the fallacy of Lerner's asserting her innocence THEN taking the Fifth. Issa was left hanging in the wind.

Issa may be a good businessman---he made millions w/ his car burglar alarm system----but he's not equipped to argue the critical legal issues that arise here.

IRS is unworty of Americas trust with the enforcement mission of Obamacare. There are and will always be questions of trust neutrality non-partisanship competence privacy unauthorized access and much worse. IRS has record of political abuse going back to the 1960s under Democrat Lyndon Johnson...nothing seems have fixed the IRS defects in fifty years.

I suspect this is protocol for all IG audits and investigations issued from the WH.

They need to check all IG reports from all agencies. This is how fascist leaders do business so as to maintain and increase absolute control..

Wow. BO's Administration is so dirty that even Elijah Cummings has, if only for a question or two, stopped obstructing the investigation and tried to advance it. I never thought I would see that.

House Oversight Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) read testimony from Paz. Issa said Paz claimed the IG auditors left the room for a short time at the end of each interview so investigators could ask any additional questions.

I thought they "said" it was an "audit" not an investigation. She is quoted here as calling them investigators.

Until people start having handcuffs slapped on them and face the threat of real prosecution and jail time, this is as Obama likes to say, ‘a sideshow’.

“The operative word, Mr. Chairman, is audit,” said George. “It was not conducted as an investigation.”

Like IRS audits aren't conducted like investigations?
