Yesterday was a dark day for America. Delegates to a national Boy Scouts of America (BSA) meeting in Texas apparently voted overwhelmingly on Thursday to validate homosexuality among boys. We are outraged.
This is a betrayal of the highest magnitude. It's a betrayal of the boys in the Scouts' care. It's a betrayal of trusting parents. It's a betrayal of a 103-year-old institution that has molded millions of boys into men. It's a betrayal of truth and honor.
Finally, it's a betrayal of God, in Whose name the organization furthered the priceless worth of being morally straight.
The immoral campaign within the BSA to sell out America's youths on the altar of political correctness appears to have been motivated by greed for corporate dollars and fear of being "on the wrong side" of an increasingly coarse culture that not only rejects biblical truth but openly attacks it.
The fallout of this evil act will be devastating, especially in areas where fathers are rare and boys desperately need male role models, such as in the inner cities. Apparently, these boys are expendable.
The decision also furthers the false notion that people are "born gay" and have no hope of overcoming that particular temptation. The idea of "gay kids" is a tragic myth embraced by those who willfully ignore the profound moral, social and spiritual consequences of homosexuality. Also ignored are the many people who once believed they were born that way but like other sinners were healed by faith and went on to lead fuller lives.
Absent in the debate are the well-documented health risks associated with homosexual behavior, especially among males.

It’s all about corporate donations and corporate sponsorship. The BSA no longer cares about turning boys into Men. Being a Man in this society is politically incorrect. Now they can get their corporate sponsorships and turn sissies into girls.

LOL. That’s exactly how I will refer to them from now on. May all their support disappear, their organization close due to lack of participation, have to file bankruptcy, sued so that they lose all they were paid off by the LGBT groups, and the persons responsible be tormented by failed relationship and finances. That’s how I would curse them if it weren’t a sin. But it’s most likely what will happen given what I’ve seen happen to other scumbags in my lifetime. They will regret this but I feel they were probably cornered and pushed into a corner without too many options.

Jeff they don’t care about your donations and support. They want sponsorships from major corporations. They’re not going to get them until they allow Homosexusl Scoutmasters but this is the first step.
They committed suicide. In essence they have sacrificed entire organization to the gods of Sodom and Gomorrah.
They will reap what they sow.
I remain astonished at how the majority of heterosexual people in America keep being bullied into caving to a tiny minority of Americans such as gays. Of the more than 300 million Americans occupying our country, it is estimated that ~4% are gay.
4% in a country where the majority is suposed to rule and, yet, we keep giving in to their demands. No wonder America is crashing. We’re a nation of wusses being “led” (and betrayed) by spineless, corrupt wusses who think that “getting along to get along” is a better policy that standing on principle.
And, we wonder why the America of Ronald Reagan’s “shining city on a hill” is rapidly sliding into the mud!
Like so many others, I was a scout in my youth. Had they accepted openly gay members then, I wouldn’t have bothered. I cringe to think what the BSA will be teaching future members. And, I shudder to think of those camping trips!
God, give us the strength, the fortitude and the courage to stand up to those who have betrayed our principles, convictions and ideals.
Yes, I know. But they will have to do so, like the Girl Scouts, with a hugely diminshed membership (both in terms of lost socut numbers and lost volunteers), and a completely tarnished and lost reputation for what they once were.

And, they will be subjugating more and more young men 12-14 to a grou of 16-17 year old gay scouts, who now can be comopletely forthcoming and open about it. Sooner or later it is going to lead to ugly consequences. Much more so than ever before.

In the BSA case the board appointed homosexual leaders based on monetary greed. Donations came with the price of placing these pedophiles onto the board and the board then made this decision.
now they will go after the Girl Scouts. will they be bullied enough to allow lesbos and male cross dressers to be admitted in the future?
In my church growing up, we had a boys organization similar to scouting called Royal Ambassadors. Its purpose was to engage kids in activities which emphasized being a missionary for Christ. It also included outdoor activities such as camping, wilderness skills and the like. Royal Ambassadors is part of the Southern Baptist tradition, but in most of the churches in which I have been involved over the last couple of decades, AWANAS has been the big youth organization. My feeling is that Christ followers should emphasize these groups with our children and forgo Boy Scouts.
I see this as an Obama move: Hitler had the SA, the Hitler Youth, the Brown Shirts. They were kids being led like the Boy Scouts by homosexual adult leaders. Once Hitler took total control he had the SS, the military special troops, kill off the SA.
Since virtually all of the scout troops and dens are supported by churches, all they would have to do is attempt to have a known homo become a member and get rejected. Then they would sue that church for--what is it they call it?--oh, I remember now, discrimination. Many "churches" would cave and allow the compromise in their ranks.
One can only imagine the chaos that would cause. I say we just sue the pants off the BSA--pun intended--the first time a child is assaulted on a camp-out, not the leader, but the BSA itself for allowing homos to join.
They made their bed, they can lie in it now.
Am familiar with the organization. We girls had GA - Girl’s Auxiliary. Women also had a group but I can’t remember their name. I do remember completing all the tasks up to and including getting my cape and scepter. Was a really big deal in our Southern Baptist church.
