Not to worry now. All this “unpleasantness” will go away soon. Holder is investigating himself, the IRS has been severely disciplined and Benghazi is old news. It must be vacation time for his highness.
“I think hes corrupt, and probably being blackmailed”
Exactly.
I think hes corrupt, and probably being blackmailed.

I suspect the same.
Of course they are. I said they would and were (and got crap for it). Issa is a milquetoast and a disaster. I say again and again. Nothing is going to come from any of this as the nitwits in charge are feckless.
Ol’ Blue Eyes had been known to shed a tear across his tanning bed cheeks, thus rendering a Speaker into a Sobber.
Not aware of his imbibing problems, but hey, a few months without his tanning bed plugged in and the tell-tale red nose of an alchi just might be revealed.
I agree. If he is being blackmailed, the best thing for all is for us to find out what it is and get it out there for him to either admit to and resign or realize now they don’t have anything to hold over him.
Conduct akin to complicity or actual complicity? Boehner is acting as an actual internal GOP saboteur. Much like McCain, Boehner is actively aiding the enemy and those who got Americans killed.

Those who know Boehner best say he does tip more than a few from time to time and some of his drunken binges are poorly-kept secrets on Capitol Hill.
Each day, the email to Capitol Hill Blue is filled with stories about Boehners after-hours partying exploits.
Boehner is not alone. Congress is and always have been a taxpayer-funded watering hole littered with heavy drinkers who all too often make strategic decisions while under the influence.
As a recovering alcoholic with 18 years, nine months and five days sober, I lived and worked in the National Capitol Region during my heaviest days of excessive imbibing all too often in the company of members of Congress and political appointees in key positions.
I accepted a new job after a night of drinking with one Congressman in the bar of the Capitol Hill Club the nightspot of choice for many Republicans. I sat one night at Bullfeathers, another Capitol Hill bar, and matched then Congressman John McCain drink for drink while we talked about politics, women and war.
Political guru Lee Atwater, who died too young from a brain tumor, was another drinking buddy,
Does John Boehner drink? Of course he does. Does he sometimes drink too much? Absolutely. Is he alone? Not by a long shot.

‘Boehner has been seen with lobbyists for decades on nightly basis and drinking’
Published: 03/11/2013 at 8:30 PM
Ive known John Boehner for over two-and-a-half decades. I dont hate John Boehner. Was I angry at John Boehner in 2006? You better believe it. I make no bones about that. But John Boehner has always been, and this is my opinion but I think the opinion of many, on the lazy side in the sense that hes a get-along guy. He doesnt like a lot of controversy. Hes always enjoyed the golfing. I would have to term it an addiction for John Boehner, Ney said.
Im not calling anyone an alcoholic, being a recovering alcoholic, but Ive got to tell you John Boehner is a constant drinker of wine. Hes been seen with lobbyists for decades on a nightly basis and drinking. Im not judging him, but I think its part of the story.
I didnt just pick on John Boehner in this book. He was part of the whole Abramoff scenario, and its kind of a complicated scenario within the book, said Ney, who also hit Boehner over his handling of recent fiscal debates in Congress.
I think part of this whole sequestration and the fiscal cliff is just John Boehners general attitude, and he has been in the throes of lobbyists and money and giving checks out on the floor of the House as many people on both sides of the aisle have. He has a chance as the speaker of the House to clean this whole mess up. I had an addiction to a substance they are still addicted to today on both sides of the aisle to campaign contributions, Ney said.
“....if this large group of former special operations folks got fed up enough to mount a Swift Boat-style media campaign to explain to leadership that Country First needs to be a code to live by....”
.
Then hopefully replace our “leadership” with these special ops dudes.
God knows the country doesn’t need today’s perfumed princes.
So, how about a “Free Republic” news media outlet to get credentials, hire some communications students from Hillsdale College, and invade D.C.
Come to think of it...why don’t whistleblowers reveal the truth here on Free Republic? Would the readers here believe the truth? Why does the MSM have to be the venue? They publish lies while Free Republic readers seek the truth. If the Republicans were also targets, would the whistleblower be considered a troll? Just wondering, as usual.

Perhaps Breitbart or some other news organization should start a new feature: “A week in the life of your Congressman/woman.”
Does Gowdy support a select committee?
I heard Gowdy today on Fox News saying that he supports an independent prosecutor. He says the members of these congressional investigative committees only get about 5 minutes of questioning and no follow up queries.
I’d still like a select committee going full throat at this corrupt administration, and after we make them squirm and suffer as we get closer to OweBowMao’s Oval Office - then call in the Special Prosecutor.
Ya THINK??
