Personally, Samsung is on my junk list. I had a Samsung DVR that lasted just about 18 months and a Samsung $800 Win7 laptop that last just 1 month after the warranty expired. It was the motherboard and they didn’t even have replacements for it. So I have an $800 Samsung door-stop.

The commercial - which advertises the brand's Evolution Kit, which turns any Samsung TV into an internet-ready Smart TV - portrays men as useless, loutish neanderthals... and women as pushovers who put up with such behaviour.

No, Martha, it does not. It depicts A man who is messy, poorly-mannered (farting and grinning about it), and unintelligent... it depicts A woman who wishes there were a device to make him more productive and cooperative in the home... it says NOTHING about ALL men or ALL women.
