Are Obama-speak and IRS-speak mere dialects of some larger language that is evolving (or “evoloving” as one might say)?
I recall a time, fossil that I am, when language was used to say something, and largely came out of the mouths of unquestionably-authentic human beings. Hard to tell if we have now fallen through some sort of wormhole mediated mind-warp looking glass, or whether we’re merely bardo bit players in a Castaneda-inspired serotonergic misread on consensus reality.
“Obamaspeak” is the reflexive burbling of the platitude-seeking members of the marginally literate nitwits that some have taken to calling “Low Information Voters.”
