Mark Levin: "RINO" Issa Didn't Investigate IRS Before b/c He "Despises the Tea Party"
Real Clear Politics ^ | 5/24/2013 | Mark Levin Show

Posted on 05/24/2013 11:15:16 AM PDT by LyinLibs

MARK LEVIN (transcript):

"So why didn't Chairman Issa hold an investigative hearing a year ago? Why didn't Chairman Camp, all Republicans, hold an investigative hearing a year ago, and all the other tripping over themselves right now?

"I'll tell you why. Because the establishment Republicans, the RINO Republicans, despise the Tea Party. They despise the conservative movement.

"We exist to be managed, to be shuttled to the polling place, to vote for their candidates. The Karl Roves of the world, and all the rest of them. They fight us in the primaries, they fight us at the grassroots. We're a bunch of kooks, don't you know. We're right-wing nuts, don't you know.

"They're not going to hold an investigative hearing before an election and screw up Mitt Romney's chances to become POTUS, because a handful of Tea Party activists, you know a couple hundred, claiming that the IRS was targeting them.

"Oh, what a bunch of nuts. We'll fire off a few letters, we'll ask a question here and there, we might follow up here and there. We're not going to have a spectacle and actually conduct a hearing. We're not going to actually exercise our authority under Article One of the Constitution for these Tea Party types of crying out loud, the unwashed.

"That's why they didn't hold a hearing last year! And they're holding hearings today, not because they give a damn about the Tea Party, or conservatives for that matter, who they are raising money to defeat in the next bunch of primaries, its because they think they can get a political advantage out of this."

I’d rather kick them out of GOP. I like being the party of Lincoln. I’d hate for the Dims to join the party of Lincoln after we left it.

Ya tell the political morons both the Democrats and Republicans are all riding in the same limo, and their jaws drop to their knees...

It’s like those watching wrestlers on TV as they perform their choreographed rehearsed moves for the audience of applauding fools, who think it’s all real.

We need to let the rnc know early that we will not put up with them “selecting” our candidate, by cheating, lying and stealing votes. Again.

I thought they did not push the scandal because they were pushing for IRS audits on tea parties to help the rinos. If that is every proven, you will see mass exodus to a third party.

He was roaring. Loved it. I can imagine the steam building up when Mark was listening to the hearings esp. when Mark was one of the lone voices in the beginning calling out the IRS.

Thanks, Andy. I did (just now). Is there a more passionate patriot with the power of the microphone? If so, I haven’t heard them.

HOORAY Mark! MUST LISTEN BUMP!

The IRS didn’t just tatrget “tea party “ groups. theIRS also Targeted Romney donors and donors to Republicans with audits. So you are trying to say Republicans don’t want to investigate the IRS targeting doners to the GOP , RNC, Romney and to them? Obama is solely responsible for it.:

here is a link shows IRS audited Romney donors.

That's what I like about Levin, he knows the score about Rats and Rinos and isn't afraid to spell it out to his audience.

The hearings now may be due to the tipping point being reached. Who else have they targeted in an effort to silence them? Military? Intel? Whistleblowers?

You don’t let a Rat out of a trap.

Unless you want to let the Rat out. Because you share the same hatred
of the Tea Party with that Rat.

The disgusting part of all of that charade is that Issa was all over FNC the day/night before showing how really tough he was because he was going to bring Lerner in and have her "testify even though she had threatened to take the 5th!"

He did but then he rolled over when after giving her denials and obfuscations, clammed up and the claimed the 5th, asked if "there were any questions that they might ask that she would answer," she flatly said, "no," then said there was no use continuing with the hearing!

What heroism, what bravery, what brilliance on Issa's part, Lerner stood her ground, he put his tail between his legs and departed in full retreat!

With guys like this "standing up for the little guy and gal," we might as well close our check books and stay at home on election day, letting the RINOs keep their offices and play footsie with the libs.

I believe Lerner surprised them by making her “I am innocent speech.” She had said she would take the 5th, and her lawyers surely knew that you can’t make a speech defending yourself and then take the 5th.

If Issa had asked the questions he had planned, it would have been laughable kabuki. But now he can ask her different questions, like “Were you aware that by making a speech and answering a question from the chair, you were testifying, and thereby lost your 5th Amendment right?”

Not only did Lerner stand her ground, but the the video of her proclaiming
her innocence was all I saw on the news channels. Very little video of her
taking the fifth. So not only did Issa not get any answers, but her statement
of innocence won that day’s PR battle. He got rolled. After Rush exposed
him, Issa now wants to bring her back in to show how tough he really, really, really is.
Other than Trey Gowdy, where was the outrage from Issa?
