Coming out of the weekend, after a brutal week for their president, the media held tight to a little lifeboat in an ocean of bad news: Polls from CNN and The Washington Post had Obama's approval rating at 53% and 50%, respectively. But Monday was a lifetime and countless revelations ago, and today, four newer polls all show Obama's approval rating sinking below 50%.
Fox News has Obama upside down with 45% approving of the president and 51% disapproving. Rasmussen shows a similar trend with 46% - 53%; as does The Economist, 45% - 51%. Gallup sits at 49% - 44%.
The Real Clear Politics poll of polls shows Obama barely above water at 48.1% - 48.0%.
A week ago, Obama sat at 49.0% - 46.5%.
We won't know for sure if this is statistical noise or if the combined scandals swirling and expanding around Libya, the IRS and the Justice Department seizing reporter's phone records and emails are finally taking a toll.
A deep dive into The Washington Post poll might give us a clue. According to the Post, Obama's lies about Benghazi are finally-- despite the best efforts of the media -- catching up to Obama, even among Democrats....

The Demonrat fraud machine will have to be roaring full bore in 2014 and 2016...and it will be.
I had no idea so many people (just under 50%) were enjoying $3.50 gallon for gas and $5.00 lb for meat, $4 gallon for milk, etc...
Wow. He is so awesome people enjoy paying double for things that they enjoyed for half under Bush.
That being said, just under 50% of America is mentally challenged.
Also the fact that Letterman is finally making Obozo jokes (and getting laughs with them) has to say something.
Maybe a few more videos of him visiting tornado victims or another school shooting will help him bounce back.
I find it incredible that this stooge can have more than a 12% approval rating. I know that 90+% of the Sons and Daughters of Barack (and a few insane people) will never abandon him.
The rest? Maybe they are insane, too.
Clearly the polls are erroneous; EVERYONE loves Prince Hussein.
This bastard’s approval rating should be down to 13%. This is not good news. The morons who put the bastard in office are still supporting the s.o.b.

I found this recent poll by Gallup to be scary. If anything should argue for a decline in liberalism, it's Obama's performance. But that's not what's happening.

Obama might not get to the approval levels his performance truly deserves -- below those of Nixon and below Bush #43 -- unless we get to the point that there is widespread social disorder.

Maybe he’s going to find frustration where no one is watching TV on Sunday of Memorial day weekend.
Also, the Oklahomans have been, and appeared to be, self-reliant and the real heroes, not even talking about federal assistance. Talking about God.
You don’t have a lot of BO supporters in your extended family, to whose ideology you have to bear just to recognize holidays.
They’re out there.

That any approval above 10% registers whatsoever for this treasonous muzi is an indelible stain on our Founders’ legacy.
47% are not paying for anything and that is why obama is not in the 20’s.

That photo op is scheduled for Tuesday. He’ll be touring the jersey shore with doughboy bragging about the reconstruction. They’ll be going down to belmar where they rebuilt the boardwalk and businesses are reopening for the summer. I’m sure we won’t see them in the still devastated areas
