***“V” was a great metaphorical movie for a fascist takeover of the world,***

I have read it was based on the book IT CAN’T HAPPEN HERE by Sinclair Lewis. It was made into a TV movie SHADOW ON THE LAND back in 1968.

“V” decided to substitute reptoids for nazis, much like today’s movies substitute zombies for the enemy.
