The late Oriana Fallaci was a well-known Italian, ground-breaking journalist from the 1960-70’s who was 500 times better than Cristian Ammanpor, wrote a few books warning Europe about the coming deluge of Islam in Europe. The book is called “The Rage and the Pride”. She was of course controversial and shunned by her (left-leaning) colleagues and much of the European media. She was light years ahead of her time. I think she died in 2006. Worthwhile looking her up. She was amazing and not scared to write the truth, no matter what - a TRUE journalist!

Oriana Fallaci was an Italian and one of the most courageous journalists, authors, and interviewers that has ever lived, that's who:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oriana_Fallaci.
Fallaci was fearless. During WW2 she was a partisan and actively fought the Germans in occupied Italy. She became a journalist and afflicted the rich and powerful to no end.
Among her coups were personal interviews with Iran's Ayatollah Khomeini, where she addressed him as a “tyrant” and removed the chador (head cover) to his face, and an interview with Libya's Mommar Gaddafi.
Lung cancer brought Fallaci’s life of 77 years to an end in 2006, but she remained a fighter to the very last. RIP, Oriana. You were a warrior for the truth in a corrupt world.
