I don't think you're right about that. Do they hate us? Yes, of course. Hatred forms the core of socialism.
However, as we've seen in the USSR, in Indonesia, in Chile, even in Cambodia - millions will kill for socialism, driven by greed and envy - but few will die for it, because self-sacrifice is not in their makeup.
Their war is coming - just look at Whitehouse's remarks after the tornado. They want us dead, and they are, increasingly, calling down the thunder.
But they are motivated by hatred, and we are motivated by love. Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun, and we've got lots of them.

While I believe that cops and governments should be unarmed, Citizens should always carry guns. UK is lost.
I agree with you. I know western civilization has been feminized to an alarming degree, but that doesn’t mean I expect my son — by himself — to try to take down a machete-wielding savage who had just murdered another man.
Correct. Normal officers have a baton and CS spray, and a stab vest, and that’s about it. Some forces in the UK are starting to equip certain units with Tasers, but even then they’re rare—and using them requires authorization from above, and filling out a ton of forms afterward.
The armed units in the UK are highly trained and typically use something like an MP5 or MP7 submachine gun (semi-auto) along with a 9mm handgun. The guns stay locked in the police station, AFAIK, unless they get authorization from their superiors to take them out—and then they keep them locked up in their cars until they get to whatever scene they’re going to.

Watched Scott Pelley on the CBS evening news try to get away with saying they had “no idea” what motivated the attack. Luckily, their London correspondent chimed in that the men shouted “Allah Akbar” when they killed the soldier. And, yes, this is the same Scott Pelley who only a few weeks ago was bemoaning the fact that the MSM is getting stories WRONG all to often.
