After launching deliberations Tuesday afternoon, a jury weighing whether or not Jodi Arias will be sentenced to death has announced they are unable to reach a unanimous decision.
After briefly entering the courtroom just before noon on Wednesday, a judge ordered them to continue deliberating.

The judge encouraged them to "write down issues, questions, laws or facts on which we can possibly help."
"I am merely trying to be responsive to your apparent need for help," the judge said. I do not wish to force a verdict."
Arias, 32, was found guilty of first-degree murder by the same jury in the 2008 killing of her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Travis Alexander.
Under Arizona law, if the jury cannot reach a unanimous decision on sentencing, the panel will be dismissed and jury selection would begin anew, to seat another panel to hear arguments only regarding Arias' sentence. If a second panel were unable reach a unanimous agreement, the judge would sentence Arias to life in prison, with or without the possibility of release after 25 years

Soon the judge will declare the jury hung so no DP.
Yup, looks like Jodi is going to weasel out of the death penalty. I guess if they can’t decide the state could empower a new sentencing jury, but that would take so much time and money that I doubt they’d do it.
On the bright side, at least this jury wasn’t completely idiotic - they at least found her guilty.
Yup looks like there is at least one moron on the jury who bought her BS.
Unbelievable that anyone would believe a single word that comes out of that mouth.
I didn’t follow this trial, but this morning I was surfing channels, and there was Arias, giving her statement to the jury. She was presenting a slideshow of her artwork, saying, “I will never paint another oil portrait.” And she blamed the jury for her parents’ pain if she gets the death penalty.
If they let this witch off with life in jail, they’re beyond moronic.
And more taxpayer money goes to waste...
She’s obviously nuts. This isn’t something I could decide on quickly. Anything this serious (and final) demands a great deal of careful consideration.
If the Colorado shooter and the kid in the DC mass killings can get life in prison, so can a mentally deranged narcissist, who was convicted of one murder.......not a half dozen or more.
Off with her head !!!!!
This is one of the strangest things about this trial. The longer I watched it, the more convinced I became that she is SERIOUSLY mentally ill. The things she says seem to have no connection to reality. And yet they arrogantly went ahead with the trial believing she wouldn’t be conviceted, when it’s an instance where she most likely would have had no difficulty with an insanity plea.
No, it doesn’t really. She brutally murdered someone. Who cares how psycho she is. She took the final step and committed murder. No mercy.
It’s as simple as that, put her to death, and forget about it.
Release her and have her move to N,Y,C. she may be able to clean up some of the upper west side and Tribeca before Bloomy leaves
How can she be facing the death penalty when all those assclowns in gizmo will live free forever?
I am going to play the race card. If Jodi were a butt-ugly black woman, she’d already be sitting on death row. Because she looks like the girl next door with a relatively attractive face (when made up) and a nice body (which the jury has seen all of), she’ll probably get LWOP where she can practice her sociopathy and manipulation for the next 60 years.
