What I can’t understand is why the people of Arizona, who generally support solid conservatives, keep re-electing this senile clown.
The system is messed up in Arizona. They allow cross-over voting in the primaries. I’m not sure exactly how the system is set up, but Democrats do vote in our primaries.
This takes place in a number of states. It’s just one of my major beefs with the Republican party.
I do realize that states set the laws that govern their elections, but the Republican party doesn’t push back or object to these types of things.
And so we wind up with John McCain and others screwing us decade after decade.
