Did other people catch this?
The Defense Department survey of sexual assault in the military during fiscal 2012 estimated 26,000 assaults took place in the armed forces. Nearly 3,000 of them were formally reported. Just more than 6 percent of women reported being victims of assault and 1.2 percent of men said the same. Given the much larger number of men in the military, those numbers suggest 14,000 of the assaults in the Pentagon study happened to men.
So 14,000 assaults were man on man, and 12,000 assaults were assaults on women. And yet this situation has been reported for months now, and this is the first time I found out that more men had been assaulted by men, than women had been assaulted by men.
When they first started the open homosexually effort in the military, I said I was not in favor of it. Some jackasses asked me what I had to fear about homos being billeted with straights. Well, there's your answer folks.
