Schoolchildren in the northern Spanish region of Asturias will no longer be able to call Christmas by its name now that a new law passed by the local education ministry prohibits the use of “religious” terms in the classroom when referring to the December and spring holidays.
Teachers and pupils in Asturias classrooms will now have to refer to Christmas as “winter holidays” and Easter as “second term holidays”.

Sounds pretty much a stretch of the truth, Christmas in Spanish is NAVIDAD, that word isn’t even in the Bible, not in the Spanish Bible. Neither is Easter, there is no word EASTER in the Spanish language except Dia de La Resurreccion, Day of the Resurrection. There is Saturday of Glory, and Holy Friday, but nothing in Spanish that is a religious term. They are really hard up for making laws in Spain.

This is on our horizon.......already I noticed, in the Science Museum in London, that BC (as in Before Christ)is no longer used. The dates now have BCE, Before Common Events. Without religion, there is no morality. But the Socialists, etc. , already know that.
