Kaitlyn Hunt, 18, had her entire life before her. Graduation. College. Job prospects. The high school senior was just preparing to start her life when she found herself expelled and slapped with criminal charges over her engagement in a same-sex relationship. And what started as a relationship between two young women has snowballed into a legal battle that could land Hunt in prison.
The story has many twists, turns and oddities. And so far, only one side that of Hunt family is being told. The high school senior apparently met her girlfriend, who is now 15-years-old, on the school basketball team at Sebastian River High School in Sebastian, Florida; the two began dating at the beginning of the school year.

Apparently my dad and grandfather should have went to jail. And so should I. Oh, and about half of the Knox county graduating class of 2013.
Then what about this?

What about a middle school boy with an elementary student?
” Of course the author leaves out a few key facts: Its the sex between them that is illegal not the relationship or the ‘love’.”
Hmmm.....let’s see....96 tears?
Get thee behind me, Satan. You speak nothing but blasphemies against Jesus Christ and Our Father. You are a liar and the love of God is not in you.
Do you quake with fear when you cherry pick minor facts about the life and times of Jesus Christ to promote the fallacy that God approves of homosexual child molestation?
You beat me to it. Since when did high schools allow tats?
Never mind, up is down, left is right....
Want to be horrified? Go check out the threads where it is a hot young female teacher having sex with a teenage boy. 75% of the comments are along the lines of “what is the problem?”
As to the middle school boy scenario, do you think if 11 year olds are ‘playing Doctor’ it should always be the boy who is prosecuted, and should be a lifetime ‘sex offender’?
How about an 11 year old girl with a 7 year old boy, should the girl be prosecuted? Do you think that would be likely?
Harass my ass. Lead poisoning. I’ll take my chances m court.
No. But I think it is dishonest to misquote Jesus as saying a 15 year old would be a “child”.
You are a liar and the love of God is not in you. I will pray for you.
I did not promote that or any other fallacy - I pointed out the very salient fact that Jesus wouldn’t have considered the 15 year old in question to be a “child”.
Jesus would be against both homosexuality and child molestation - but he wouldn’t have considered the 15 year old a “child”. According to Jewish law she would be an adult.
Yes, I would have a HUGE problem if an 11 year old girl had had sexual contact with my 7 year old son.
Do you really think God will appreciate you praying that Houmatt stops opposing homosexual child molestation?
The author is shilling for the removal of all age restrictions for homosexual relationships. That would seem to be an easier hustle if your perp is a cute girl.
Several articles state that they “dated” for months before the parents turned to law enforcement.
The saddest thing - besides the fact that one may be a convicted felon for the rest of her life - is that one could hope that these two girls were just experimenting. In fact, the older did date boys, previously.
What I see, however, is two young women who will become committed to lesbianism as an act of defiance. And a younger woman who will likely have NO relationship with her parents for dragging her own name through the mud (everyone in town knows who she is), and criminalizing her friend’s behavior.
Sad, sad, sad. In twenty years these two girls will be leading feminazis, because one set of parents acted out of anger instead of grace.
BLASPHEMY!
Perhaps the 15 year old was not in an entirely voluntary situation and eventually wanted out.
Happens all the time these days. It seldom makes news anymore.
“Jesus Christ Himself said it is better to put a millstone around your neck and toss yourself into the sea than harm a child. And that is what this 15-year-old is.” Houmatt
Well not according to Jesus. According to Jesus a 15 year old would be an adult.
Sorry if you think misrepresenting the meaning of the Bible is in your best interest in this case. The ends do not justify the means.
A senior dates a freshman. Big flippin’ deal. All involved, including the prosecutor, have better things to do with their time.
