Fox News reports that three Fox staffers, two reporters and one producer, were targeted by Barack Obama's Justice Department. Fox doesn't have all the details yet on a reporter William La Jeunesse and producer Mike Levine, but their emails showed up in a IG report regarding Fast and Furious. Either their emails were leaked by the Justice Department officials they were sent to, or the email accounts of both were subpoenaed and invaded by government investigators.
The IG report does say that subpoenas were issued to obtain emails. Whose email was targeted is not yet known.
The third staffer is reporter James Rosen. The Washington Post's story behind that is downright chilling. What we have here is a case of the Obama Administration criminalizing reporting.
In June of 2009, James Rosen of Fox News reported that North Korea might respond to an increase in United Nations sanctions with even more nuclear tests. Rosen added that the CIA had learned this information from their sources within North Korea.

Is their argument that, of all the media outlets out there, someone in their own administration would leak to their arch nemesis, Fox News? How much more implausible can you get?

This is getting deeper and deeper. It’s just a question of whether the low information voter will ever see the ramification to them personally over all of this. It’s highly unlikely given the fact they get their news from the view or inside edition.
If FOX reporters were being tracked in regards to Fast and Furious the DOJ will have a problem justifying it. Hopefully this can of worms can be reopened.

After being targeted by the IRS, we had a family conference. We agreed that we can acquiesce or keep resisting. We chose the latter. Now I wonder how long before our door is kicked down? For the crime of speaking out against our President we may be embattled for the rest of our lives. Now, every time a car door slams I wonder if they are coming for us....
Is this a bad dream? Maybe I’ve just seen too many spy movies. I desperately hope so.
