VP: Who was the idiot who decided the programmers couldn’t talk to users?
Boss: I don’t know but I’ll find out.
Later
Boss: Who told the VP that the programmers weren’t allowed to talk to users?
(crickets)
Boss: Whose idea was that?
Underling: Your’s
Boss: Oh so it is MY fault? I don’t know what you heard but that’s not what I said.
I imagine the same conversation is happening in the White House now.
