We had a manager record a conversation once that “never happened”. When he played it for the VP and manager’s boss, they had a “dog humping the Queen’s leg” moment. They stripped him of his reports, gave him a bulletin board to keep updated and cut him in a later layoff.
It’s a lot like this press conference. Things that never happened keep coming to light.
