The thing people often forget about the story of the boy who cried wolf was that, at the end of the day, there was a wolf. For the past six years since Barack Obama announced his presidential intentions Republicans have been crying themselves hoarse. Obama, if they were to be believed, was a Kenyan-born communist Muslim with a forged birth certificate who stole the election by registering millions of ineligible voters.
"A lot of information about Obama's background is missing," said Abigail Billings, at a meeting of a 9-12 group (organised by the conservative former Fox host Glenn Beck) at a non-alcoholic bar in Lexington, Kentucky, in 2009. "The media in America is not doing any research. They're not asking any questions. They're not reporting any longer. They're now opinionated talk shows. They're no longer offering factual news coverage." Billings, like the 16 others gathered that evening, watched Fox News. A quick poll revealed that seven thought Obama was a Muslim, 10 believed he was a communist, and none thought he was born in the US. Such claims were so patently ridiculous and so easily disproven that few beyond the right, substantial in size but insulated in range, paid them much attention.
But over the past fortnight wolves have been out in force. The Obama administration is beset by scandals, of varying magnitudes, that would give conspiracists good reason to be paranoid. First came evidence that the state department deliberately downplayed the involvement of al-Qaida in the attacks on the US embassy in Benghazi, Libya, that left four dead, including the ambassador. Then came the revelation that the tax collection agency, the Independent Revenue Service, subjected Tea Party and other Conservative groups (including 9-12) to special scrutiny over their tax-exempt status.....

Unlike most “mainstream” Western newspapers The Guardian proudly proclaims its Maoist roots.
Those of us who love America, and are not Republicans, would like to see the Hussein regime emasculated as well.
DOJ subpoenas are ‘unconstitutional,’ hurt press, AP president says
The Republicans now have proof that the wolf is in the sheepfold. But we have no strategy as to how to get him out or subdue him.
The author looks like a gap tooth fairy.
The Republican Wolves need to turn into SHARKS.
Let one drop of blood be drawn and the frenzy begins.
I didn’t know the GOP even had wolves.
Wolves hunt in packs and have cohesion in purpose, something I have never seen among PUBs.
All I have to do is think of the likes of McCain and how he gets re-elected every time and I know the party is lost.
One ugly motorscooter.
So it’s the “wolves” against “Vlad the Impaler and his bloodsucking vampires” now, huh? Okay.
GOP-E is a poodle pack.
A gap tooth fairy? Oh well. I’m really glad the FR watchdogs are looking out for unsavory-looking characters. We seem to be succeeding politically.
The difference here you gap toothed, red coat, fairy is these are facts out in the wild.
We aren’t looking to draw blood just yet. For now, we’ll go with some body checking but, bet your gay ass next spring it will be on and bloodletting.
These idiotic antics are offensive to all Americans and the gun issue ain’t going to evaporate unlike your retarded intellect.
What a drama queen. We’re not looking for blood. We’re looking for Freedom and Liberty.
The biggest problem is that GOP “leadership” are worthless cowards. If the GOP had real leadership, 0bama would already be impeached and facing removal.
Is that Lister?
Hey! Hey! Hey!
Obama’s son?
It is actually a good idea to refer to Nixon at this time, not for Nixon himself, but because of what happened as a consequence of what Nixon did.
This is because the Republicans should *embrace* those ideas as a template for what they should do in “post-Obama America”.
When Nixon resigned, and Gerald Ford became president, the following congress was extremely Democrat, and it was also very oriented to outlaw what it had perceived as Nixon’s constitutional abuses.
One of the most important things they did was to pass the War Powers Act, to prevent the POTUS from carrying out wars unilaterally, without the knowledge or support of congress.
What retroactively justifies the War Powers Act is that the presidents thereafter hated this constraint on their abuse of power, sought to undermine the law, and eventually did. Clearly it was a good idea, and it should be restored.
Next, congress sought to stop the abuses of federal agencies against the American people, with, for example, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, also known as the Buckley Amendment, to keep the government from snooping into the educational records of students.
Unfortunately, because of W. Bush and Obama, Americans no longer have a right to privacy of *any* of their records, be they of the books they read, the Internet, their phone calls, their educational or medical records, *anything* is fair game.
And this should be decisively ended. Americans are not the enemy of America, and the government needs to butt out of our lives and leave us alone. Unless a real human being judge writes a written warrant for particular personal data about an American citizen, the government should be prohibited from collecting or maintaining it, under threat of severe criminal penalties.
Now it turns out that the IRS has been used to politically attack those opposed to the president and his party. For this, criminal indictments and long prison sentences are required, and should be given, “liberally”.
