Looks like you will be a little better off as the storms up your way have formed a line...a little better than those single super storms. Thank goodness!
It’s almost passed us but there is another line of storms near Manhattan that will be coming our way.
They just had an explanation of what a multi-vortex tornado is....I didn’t get it all but one who studies these says the speed in these is 315 miles and hour, that has actually been tracked and measured. BUT he believes the speed is much greater....so this is why they become so violent.
Something to do with the air not keeping up with the speed of the tornado rotation etc. so the main vortex divides itself....as this one did.
Kfor just said there are no longer any tornado warnings in their area...but possible more tomorrow as another jet stream comes in....which is apparently what forms these.
