"Can you see in your mind's eye a way that this might not have been political, that this was a misguided stupid way to sort, but that they didn't intend it to be some kind of political attempt to harass the Tea Party?"
No
Feeling better, I see!
;-)
“Candy have another donut then go away”
Headline I’d like to see! “Candy Crowley dies choking on a doughnut!”
That's like asking if it's possible for Candy Crowley to be mistaken for Kate Upton.
I’m taking pain reliever for my throat, otherwise feel much better. thanks!
Yeah... when a pig Candy Crowley flies.
Why the hell do we not see at a minimum of 5 to 10 million outraged American’s marching on D.C. as we speak? AT A MINIMUM? I know Conservatives and Libertarians make up for at least 170 million in this country. Where the hell is everyone?
Every right we have is getting steamrolled and people are busy posting pictures of their food on Facebook like everything is A-OK.
No Candy its not possible.
Targeting groups with "Tea Party" or "Patriot" in their name might not have been intended to harass the Tea Party. That one is creative!
She's entirely too thuggish to notice that it became a CRIME the minute someone in higher levels of management became aware of what was happening and failed to take action to REQUIRE SIGNIFICANT CHANGES.
After all, with IRS and other regulatory bodies it's not so much the facts on the ground as it is the appearance of the facts on the ground that results in an error turning into a disaster!
These processes used to control heavy work-flow that consists of case after stupid case day after day, year after year, are probably never going to be understood by the general public, and probably not even by people who need to learn about them to push an application through to approval!
The wise bureaucrat makes sure his procedures actually accomplish that which is required by law, but that they also look honest. Something that sorts Democrats here, Republicans there, Fascists over that away, and Commies under the table ~ might allow you to bring to bear your best people on those related cases, but it'll sure look fishy when they find out you gave someone a favor, or you dallied with someone else.
It's never been different.
Smooth it all over, Crowley...

You win the chicken dinner on this thread! lol
That woman—after what she did in the third debate—should have just gone away and lived with her cats. How DARE this fraud have the nerve to say anything about Obama?
And the IRS will become administrators for Obamacare.
Well said.
So true.
What do we do now?
I almost feel sorry of some of the MS media loons, as withdrawals from Kool-aid can be difficult.
It often takes months to get the brain to “reset” after years of kool-aid drinking. And sometimes there is no fixing them.
What to do; what to do. All these guys are new at this classification ~ how many different people do you want to talk to or write letters to.
Frankly, I"d sort them but I"d set that process up years before so that we never got caught flatfooted with a 'surge' in the number of cases from a single sector ~
Alphabetical tends to work BTW ~ that's similar to simply filing your current correspondence in one of those flexible binders that will let you stick in 1 letter, or a booklet.
You ramp up from there.
The advantage to this is simple ~ you can never be accused of being 'inflexible' or 'biased' ~ even if you are doing an exceedingly incompetent job at moving cases.
