The audience rose to its feet after Rep. Mike Kelly (R-Penn.) chided Acting IRS Commissioner Steve Miller about the Internal Revenue Services treatment of taxpayers at a hearing of the House Ways and Means Committee on Friday.
The hearing focused on the agencys targeting of conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status, including those with names that included tea party or patriot.
You get a letter from you folks, or a phone call, its with terror that you look at it, and now this kind of reconfirms thatyou know whatthey can do almost anything they want, to anybody they want, anytime they want, Kelly said. This is very chilling for the American people.
Calling it a huge blow to the faith and trust the American people have in their government, Kelly again questioned the power the IRS holds over the American people.

Now we know that the admission of guilt was initiated by a planted question; so I'm even more suspicious that there is a planned outcome."
Have to agree with this.

NUMBER: 1798
AUTHOR: Daniel Webster (17821852)
QUOTATION: The power to tax is the power to destroy.
ATTRIBUTION: This quotation comes from the words of DANIEL WEBSTER and those of JOHN MARSHALL in the Supreme Court case, McCulloch v. Maryland.
Webster, in arguing the case, said: An unlimited power to tax involves, necessarily, a power to destroy, 17 U.S. 327 (1819).
In his decision, Chief Justice Marshall said: That the power of taxing it [the bank] by the States may be exercised so as to destroy it, is too obvious to be denied (p. 427), and That the power to tax involves the power to destroy [is] not to be denied (p. 431).
REPEAL THE 16TH!
The IRS has been sending documents to an engineering outfit here in town, but they’ve been misaddressed to my PO Box. The first time I saw one of these envelopes I about had a heart attack on the spot. I continue to get them, and continue to readdress them and throw them back.
I’m not sure what you mean. Goes the other way? I’m the low-info voter?
I was referring to the fact, that either political party is pretty much the same deal. If you don’t know that fact, then perhaps you are a low-info voter. I get writing, like I know something, and offend a good person like you. I’m a dummy. Sorry, for bothering you.
yes — there are more than a few low-info RINOs out there
The ponzi scam works to keep US working for the banking cartels, growing our cumulative debt, until the banking cartels decide inflation is too high and they hit the reset button ... which is deadly to a great many people but allows the banking cartels to start again with an newly accumulated portfolio of real assets bought up or 'repossessed' during the collapse they structured. You can see the entire process at work in countries like Ecudaor, Argentina, etc. The world is ruled by the banking powers, the elite bankers who are the only trillionaires ont he planet.
