As an aside, can we just stop calling them civil or public servants? Who are they ‘serving’? They make more money on average than those in the private sector, and their primary motivation is not to serve the public, but to support politicians who will keep the gravy train going.

I remember when this jacka$$ game to Houston one time to present one of those phony awards to a federal agency for outstanding work. My boss, the US Marshal, made me go because they needed an audience there. We sat on the 3rd row, in the very center.....I never applauded once and certainly never smiled. When we left and got in the car, he said “why didn’t you ever clap?” and I responded, “hey you ordered me to attend, but you didn’t tell me I had to be happy about it”.....he cracked up!
