Yeah very scary!!
One of the trains was headed toward NYC and Grand Central Station.
Fox continues to report that both trains are still upright, just off the rails.
Video is coming soon, but they say it’s more of a sideswipe than a head on.
My friend is a conductor. He was on board one of the trains that collided in Canoga Park a few years back. You may remember it.
The trains stop immediately, because of equal force. Now I know that isn’t exactly right, because cars and people still do move, but the point is, people are thrown great distances inside the cars.
My friend was tossed between 20 and 30 feet hitting the end of the car. He woke up partially covered with other bodies.
He couldn’t bend his knee for a few days, and finally had some surgery due to his maladies.
These sorts of accidents are very messy.
